Fort Zachary Taylor State Park -
One of the best beaches in Key West, Fort Zachary Taylor is a rocky 87-acre state park with a sand beach and a pre-Civil War Fort. A Mix of sand and coral rock, the beach is a wonderful spot for swimming along the three coves, sunbathing, snorkeling and watching magical sunsets. Snorkelers can explore the rock-pile barriers just offshore for small tropical fish.The park offers a food/drink kiosk, chair rentals, tables and BBQ's. Bicycles are the preferred way to get to Ft. Zach.

South Beach -
Located at the south end of Duval Street in the heart of Old Key West, South Beach is a small sandy strand with shallow waters, a concrete pier and picnic tables. Set on the Atlantic Ocean, South Beach is a popular hangout with the locals and great place to swim, catch some rays and grab a drink at the beachfront café.Smathers Beach -
Stretching along the southern shore of the island for 2 miles along South Roosevelt Boulevard, Smathers Beach is Key West’s longest beach. The popular stretch of sandy man-made beach on a shallow reef is an idyllic spot for swimming, sunning, jet skiiing, parasailing, windsurfing, snorkeling and volleyball.The beach offers vending stands, chair rentals, bike paths, picnic tables, volleyball nets, watersports rentals, restrooms, and ample parking. You can rent windsurfers, kayaks, rafts, and go parasailing. Step across the dune onto the sidewalk for e Italian Ice or a hot dog.

Dog Beach -
Located next to Louie's Backyard (Vernon and Waddell), Dog Beach is a canine playground and one of the few beaches that dogs are allowed. The rocky beach is a wonderful spot for playing with your pooch in the ocean.
Higg's Memorial Beach -
Located along the southern edge of Key West, Higg’s Beach is a wide sandy beach with a long wooden pier. Higgs Memorial Beach is the second largest beach in Key West and offers swimming areas, covered picnic tables, a pavilion, a playground, chair and watersports rentals, rafts, restrooms Saturday Yoga on the Beach on Saturdays and beachfront restaurant with outdoor tables facing the sand. Paintings on the columns holding up roofs on each picnic table are colorful with a real Key West vibe. A bicycle path winds along the edge of the beach.
Rest Beach -
Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Rest Beach offers soft sand and natural vegetation for relaxing and watching the amazing colors of the Key West sunrise. Home of the White Street Pier, a great fishing and strolling spot, Rest Beach is 300 yards long and offers picnic tables, a yoga deck with nightly classes, and restrooms within walking distance. The White Street Pier is one of the best places in Key West for an evening stroll and listening to the rhythmic slap of the waves.Bahia Honda State Park Beaches -
A 30 mile drive from Key West, Bahia Honda is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Recently listed as one of the top ten nicest beaches in the United States by the Travel Channel, Bahia Honda offers miles of soft sugary white sand, shallow and clear water, gorgeous ocean views and some of the best windsurfing ever! Facing west, the long, crescent-shaped beach offers a semi-protected lagoon for swimming and snorkeling and spectacular Florida Keys sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. Bahia Honda also offers pagodas for picnic-goers and a nature center. There is a small fee to enter the park.Dry Tortugas Beach -
